My research program in behavioral and systems neuroscience centers on neural mechanisms that allow us to distinguish similar events from memory. I'm interested in how these functions change across the lifespan, with a current focus on later adulthood and aging.
To address these questions, I combine behavioral assessment, pharmacology, in vivo manipulations, and circuit-specific mapping of neural activity in rodent models.
